The artist, born and raised in El Salvador never played with Barbies until she was an adult, having been brought up in a Marxist household, Barbie was a forbidden object in her household. Now that the artist resides in the US she can't get enough of Barbie. She is currently working on a website to showcase her art, this is just a sneak preview of what is to come.
